Our Community
St Jude's Parish Primary School
At St. Jude’s we are always looking for ways to work with the first educators, the parents of our students. Parents are welcomed and encouraged to be active members of our school, once a parent has a working with children check (this is a government requirement for any adult to work with children) there are several ways of becoming involved, these include;
Classroom helper
Library volunteer
Assist with excursions or incursions
Attending Masses, assemblies, social justice activities and other school events
School Board
Running & Planning of our School
The School Education Board is an advisory team made up of the Parish Priest, the School Principal, a staff representative and elected parents of the school. The team meets each month and discusses issues which relate to the running and the planning
of the school. While decisions relating to the running of the school are the concern of the Principal, the School Education Board plays an important advisory role which will often support the decision-making process.
The School Education Board enhances communication and accountability, and plays a key role in keeping parish, staff and families 'on the same page'.
